A Strange Sport

    I am happy to guest post on this sporty blog because I think sports are a wonderful thing! It provides thrill, perseverance, excitement, and much more! Sports push people to be better and admire others abilities. It also provides such happiness as when the Astros won the World Series. After all that Huston has gone through in these past couple of months, it made me so happy to see the Astros give there city a reason to rejoice!       As you can probably tell... I like sports... or I maybe love sports. I come from a sport loving and very competitive family. We are a strange family though and like a strange sport called disc golf.  So what is disc golf?  The short version is it's similarly played like golf but with frisbee like discs. About volleyball? There are six players on the court. There are three in the front and three in the back. the one in front middle is the setter and the two on the side are the spikers. The setter sets the ball to the spikers and then they spike the ball. So "What is setting?" Setting is when a player raises both hands above there head and pushes the ball up and forward to get the ball over.

Volleyball starts next Tuesday! Our teams name is the Spikers. We have 13 girls on the team. Im mostly excited for serving and setting. I got my full 4 weeks ago, but im not cheering this year which is really sad but I miss cheering with my girls , but I wouldn't be on the same team because I m to old but I hope I can do cheer next year!
